ECOBARRIO AND TECNOECÓPOLIS: Technological platform for evolutionary participatory integrated development

ARCOÍRIS applies since 2010 ECOBARRIO AND TECNOECÓPOLIS: Technological platform for integrated participatory evolutionary development.

It consists of three main components:

  1. Communication and participation. Unification of face-to-face and virtual identity. Information exchange = flows.
  2. Investigation action. Network of transdisciplinary researchers to generate applied and applicable solutions.
  3. Measurement of the sustainable development index and monitoring of ongoing processes. Systemic set of indicators, facilitating dialogue for all actors and allowing the monitoring of processes, as well as their efficiency and effectiveness.

SESGE has been involved in monitoring the process since 2016.

Practical Application for the Theory of General Systems

Ever since the System Dynamics and the multivariable model of the world (Forrester, 1970s) or the Problem Solving (Rusell Ackoff, 1970s), even the actual jobs of the Institute of San Fe about Complex Adaptive Systems (2000s), passing through the Viable System or P. Checkland’s Soft System Methodology (1078), the applications are incessant.
